Time and Timing Plays an Important Role
As a waitress, I used to know, almost to the minute, when food should be up in the window after I placed the order. In voiceovers, we are able to read scripts to time almost to the second. This sort of internal clock seems to come automatically, (after repeated practice, of course.)
Timing is everything. In conversation, in comedy, in cooking…it’s crucial.
Turns out, this is my 100th blog. 99 blogs and I’m proud to say I haven’t dropped the ball. My favo(u)rite subject? Time.
Last blog, I wrote about finding my inner meter. A couple of times, I’ve blogged about our investment of time and priorities. And, in voiceovers, once again, timing is everything.
