It’s About Time! Blog 100 & Writing Stellar Copy

Time and Timing Plays an Important Role

As a waitress, I used to know, almost to the minute, when food should be up in the window after I placed the order. In voiceovers, we are able to read scripts to time almost to the second. This sort of internal clock seems to come automatically, (after repeated practice, of course.)

Timing is everything. In conversation, in comedy, in cooking…it’s crucial.

Turns out, this is my 100th blog. 99 blogs and I’m proud to say I haven’t dropped the ball. My favo(u)rite subject? Time.

Last blog, I wrote about finding my inner meter. A couple of times, I’ve blogged about our investment of time and priorities. And, in voiceovers, once again, timing is everything.

I’ve put together a list of three amazing resources: from a radio marketing Guru and from a video company who’s name won points with me, and, one masterful piece I’ve wanted to share for a long time from remarkable writer, Helen Nesterenko, … and one thing in common? Whether for tv, radio, or an “explainer” video, time and timing plays an important role…

And, if you happened to have missed one of my one hundred blogs, here’s some of my favs about time:

We must use time wisely and forever realize that the time is always ripe to do right.”
